Roger Johnsen joins Breeze Ship Design!

As we continue to grow with both project developments and increasing order book, we are happy to announce that Roger Johnsen have joined Breeze Ship Design from 01.08.2021 as Head of Structural Design.

Roger is a very known face to many in the industry and holds a master’s degree in Naval Architecture from University of Strathclyde. He first started working in ship design in 1997 for Norwegian ship design house Vik-Sandvik and then later moved to UK in 2000 where he worked for BMT Ship Design before his return to Norway and Wärtsilä Ship Design.

He holds many positions in his career, all from structural design, concept development and project management. Roger offers solid experience to Breeze Ship Design when it comes to steel structure design and steel calculations both for new build design and conversion design. He is used to work directly with clients handling documentation packages for owners, yards, class, authorities and sub-contractors. He has a long track record working with research vessels, supply vessels, seismic research vessels, offshore vessels, cable laying vessels, fishing vessels, towing vessels, ice breakers, heavy lift crane vessels, cruise vessels, RORO-ships, etc.
