About us

Strong legacy

Breeze Ship Design is an independent powerhouse of naval architecture and marine engineering. With our headquarter on the Norwegian coast and our integrated design office in Bulgaria, we combine a strong local presence with a global reach. We provide the maritime industry with a rare advantage: – The agility of a modern consultancy powered by one of the world’s most extensive design archives.

Deeply rooted

Many of our employees have decades of experience from internationally renowned ship design environments like Vik-Sandvik, Wärtsilä Ship Design and Skipskonsulent. Others in our team bring years of insights from the customer side of shipping.

With access to the world’s most extensive design portfolio, Breeze Ship Design provides knowledge and data from more than 4,000 vessels built worldwide. These include some of the most environmentally advanced ships sailing today. We use the portfolio as a catalyst for innovative new designs and to de-risk new technologies, ensuring that when we face a modern challenge, we build on a foundation of proven performance.

Mission: Create future-optimized vessels.
Vision: Shaping sustainable shipping.

Independent tailoring

Independence is the cornerstone of our business. As an independent design house, our loyalty lies solely with our clients and the integrity of the project.

Unbiased advice: We are not tied to specific equipment manufacturers or shipyards. This allows us to recommend the best technical solutions, fuels, and systems for your specific mission.

A human connection: We believe the best engineering happens through close collaboration. At Breeze, you don’t just get a drawing; you get a dedicated partner who stays with you from the initial concept to the final delivery.

The “human scale” advantage: We are large enough to handle the world’s most complex maritime projects, yet small enough to ensure that every client receives senior-level attention and a tailored approach.
