Expands in Bulgaria: Breeze Ship Design acquires Varshyp Design

Norwegian Breeze Ship Design has acquired Varshyp Design Ltd in Varna, Bulgaria. The engineering company has in-house, first class skills within all fields required for ship design, marine engineering and marine consultancy – making it a strong addition to the Breeze Ship Design team.

Breeze Ship Design – Equinor CO2-carrier

Breeze Ship Design, together with the Norwegian energy major Equinor, will develop a ship design concept for a CO2 carrier for direct offshore injection. The main key design drivers are safe loading, transport, and offshore injection of CO2 with as low emissions as possible.

Breeze Ship Design is proud and humbled to support with the re-build ships design of Eidesvik’s offshore supply vessel Viking Energy to run on an ammonia fuel cell system.

From Equinor to Breeze Ship Design

Reinert Nordtveit will join the naval architecture company Breeze Ship Design as their new Chief Operating Officer (COO) starting from 1st of January 2022.
